Big Stax XVII 500 (Day 2): How Big Will Moving Day Get

Level 16 (Blinds 2,500/5,000/500)
Total Big Stax XVII 500 Entries: 1,170

Total Players Remaining: 219
Chip Average: 215,000

After over 600 players registered for Day 1C of the Big Stax 500, the field now sits just shy of the second largest in this history of this tournament. With at least a handful of players expected to exercise their max late reg option, we will likely see the field beat out the 1,184 that made up May's total.

Players who buy in at the start of play today will receive a full 40,000 chip starting stack along with the button. Many times, we have seen players spin up a Day 2 buy-in toward a Day 3 or even a final table appearance. In last week's Big Stax 300, Steve Kotarski bought in before the start of Day 2 and ended up finishing among the final three tables.

Once all players have registered before the start of play, the payouts for the Big Stax 500 will be announced, and when they are, the Big Stax blog will have them posted. If past moving days have been any indication, it should be another exciting day of poker in the Parx tournament are and the Big Stax blog will hit the ground running as soon as cards are in the air.
