Big Stax XVII 500 (Day 1C): Andrews Leading On Dinner, Sims Hot On His Heels

It is deja vu all over again for Ron Sims as the Day 1A chip leader of the Big Stax 300 is near the top of the counts once again. 

Level 9 is near its end and players on Day 1C of the Big Stax 500 will soon be on their dinner break. Michael Andrews is still the man to beat with 290,000 after continuing to build over the last level. He is trailed closely by Ron Sims, who after making Day 3 of the Big Stax 300, is once again near the top of the leaderboard heading into to dinner break. 

Sims is playing 270,000 and will look to once again make it deep in a massive field. One other player is within striking distance of Sims and Andrews, and that is Max Melmed who holds 245,000. Others hovering near the 200,000 mark include Anthony Alleyne, Paul Shedaker and Yaser Al-Keliddar. 

Play will resume at 7:45 PM for the remaining players in today's flight and they will play six more levels to close the night before bagging. The Big Stax blog will return on the other side of the break to continue bringing the action from this final starting flight.
