Kat Khaterzai just sent her opponent to the showers after having her aces hold versus kings in a preflop all-in confrontation and is now over 400,000 late on Day 1C. 

As we mentioned earlier, a major key to advancing through Day 1 of a Big Stax event is catching some well-timed heat to end the night. Kat Khaterzai was just on the right end of an aces versus kings cooler and looks to be the first player over the 400,000 chip mark. Khaterzai is a veteran of many East Coast tournament series and recently finished second in the Borgata Spring Poker Open "Black Chip Bounty" event for a $20,000 score. 

Khaterzai's stack is currently good for the chip lead and she will look to continue building before bags come out to earn this flight's yellow jersey.
