Big Stax XVII 500 (Day 1C): When You're Due, You're Due

Level 9 (Blinds 500/1,000/100)
Total Big Stax XVII 500 Entries: 1,016
Total Big Stax XVII 500 D1B Entries: 486

After many close calls, Scott Blumstein finally broke through in the Borgata Summer Poker Open "Million" for his first career victory.
If you've ever heard Scott Blumstein talk about poker, then you have probably heard about "due theory" which is basically another version of  "simulation theory," a predetermined setting as to who wins a poker tournament. Regardless of skill level, Blumstein's "due theory" says your fate is already predetermined when you sit down to play.

The stars finally aligned for Blumstein last month when he took home $199,000 for winning the Borgata Summer Poker Open "Million" that brought his career winnings dangerously close to the $300,000 mark. Blumstein will now hope that it is his turn in the Big Stax series as he has come close a few times to taking down a trophy, but fell short near the finish line.

Blumstein is fresh off of some R&R following his Borgata run and is in today's flight looking to take home his second major title in as many months.
