Level 8 (Blinds 400/800/100)
Total Big Stax XVII 500 Entries: 974
Total Big Stax XVII 500 D1B Entries: 444

With all of the players in today's Day 1C field, you can expect to see some faces with some major accomplishments to put to their name. In one section of the tournament area sits a World Series of Poker bracelet winner and a former Big Stax 500 champion.

Jeff Papola took down the $5,000 "Six-Max" at the 2010 World Series of Poker. That score accounts for $665,000 of Papola's $2,500,000 in career earnings. Since that win, Papola has remained consistently active in the tournament scene and has added two Parx championship cashes to his 2016 ledger.
Awaise Dar hit paydirt in the Big Stax XIV 500 for a cash of $63,720 that accounts for the better part of Dar's career earnings. Dar beat a final table that included Thai Ha, Greg Joslyn and Asher Conniff and is starting his journey back to the Parx winner's circle in today's flight.
